San Francisco Vintage: Community Events Calendar

About This Calendar

This calendar is exclusively for events where vintage, antiques, or related collectible culture is a primary component. Every submission is reviewed by our team before it appears here. Events without vintage as a core element are not published, regardless of how interesting they may be. If your event features vintage dealers, estate sale inventory, antique goods, or museum exhibitions of historical objects, you are in the right place. If it doesn't, you are not. This is a San Francisco-based calendar. We generally list San Francisco events only, with a few exceptions for established partnerships and affiliations. Submit an event →

Event Eligibility

What qualifies for this calendar, and what doesn't. San Francisco Vintage maintains the integrity of this calendar specifically to serve people who are looking for vintage culture in San Francisco. The rule is simple: vintage must be part of the event.

✓ These Events Qualify
Vintage markets and pop-up events, where dealers are selling vintage goods
Estate sales in San Francisco, with limited exceptions for established community partnerships. This is a San Francisco-based calendar.
Antique fairs and shows, including large-format fairs like Alameda Point
Vintage fashion shows and swap meets, where vintage clothing is the primary focus
Vintage-focused dealer events, including specialty sales for specific categories
Museum exhibitions and programs featuring vintage, historical, or antique objects as primary content
Repair and restoration events: repair cafes, restoration workshops focused on vintage goods
Community events with a significant vintage component, where vintage makes up at least 30 to 40% of the event content
HAVE and San Francisco Vintage events, which include vintage as a core programming element
✗ These Events Do Not Qualify
General community events, street fairs, or neighborhood festivals without a vintage component
Craft fairs, artisan markets, or maker events where new goods are the primary focus
Food and beverage events, restaurant openings, or bar events without vintage dealers
Music concerts, nightlife events, or entertainment events without vintage components
Thrift store sales or donation drives (these are different from vintage events)
General fundraisers or charity events without vintage dealers or programming
Fashion events or brand pop-ups selling new merchandise only
Any event where vintage is incidental rather than core. One vintage vendor at a large general market is not enough to qualify.
Why We Are Strict About This

San Francisco Vintage's events calendar exists specifically so that people searching for vintage culture in San Francisco find real vintage events, not general community events that happen to have one vintage dealer. The integrity of this calendar is its value. We maintain it carefully.

Not sure if your event qualifies? Submit it and explain the vintage component in the description. Every submission is personally reviewed and will reach out if there are questions. If your event doesn't qualify, you'll hear back and may be able to point you to a more appropriate resource.

SF Vintage Weekly Newsletter
Estate sale alerts every Thursday morning, before the weekend rush
The Early Arrival Reality

A 9 AM start time means you should be in line by 8:15, minimum. For a significant Pacific Heights or Sea Cliff sale, people arrive before the sun comes up. There will be a sign-up sheet on the door. If there are 30 names on it and you arrive at 9:00, you are not at the front.

The newsletter goes out every Thursday. Estate sale companies who contact San Francisco Vintage to be featured get their listing out before the weekend rush.
