Submission criteria.

These four apply to vintage shops. Downtown locations, frogs and markers, and corrections are reviewed on their own terms.

48–72 hrsEvery submission is read by a person within 48 to 72 hours and you hear back either way. Meeting the criteria does not guarantee a listing, and sending one does not put anything on the map: a person reviews it and places it by hand.
  1. 01San Francisco and Gold Country onlyA permanent physical storefront in San Francisco or in California’s Gold Country. Oakland, Berkeley and Marin shops are not listed here, regardless of how excellent they are, and neither is the rest of the state.
  2. 02At least 60% vintageVintage must be the primary focus, at least 60% of your inventory. Select consignment and thrift shops are considered case by case.
  3. 03Active on social mediaInstagram at minimum, so buyers can verify you are open and see what you carry.
  4. 04Follow the communityFollow @sfvintagemaps and @san.franciscovintage for events, map updates, and chances to be featured.
