San Francisco Vintage began in San Francisco and now has a physical store in historic downtown Angels Camp. The city work did not stop when the shop opened. Both halves are the same business, run by the same person, with the same standard for what earns a place on the floor.

The objects that carry a city's history are not in museums. They are in apartments, in storage units, in the boxes that get sorted when a house changes hands. What happens to them next is a cultural decision, whether we treat it that way or not.

What the business actually is

Angels CampThe store1260 S. Main Street, in historic downtown. Furniture, lighting, glass, art, old California and genuine oddities. North Beach is where a great deal of this began, and it stays in the story and in the neighborhood guides. It is not the current physical home. That is Angels Camp.
