San Francisco Vintage has moved to California Gold Country. The store sits in historic downtown Angels Camp, on the Highway 49 corridor, in a town that has been trading in old things since 1848.

Verified against the visitor bureaus and the shops themselves, free to be listed, and no pay to rank. We send people to the other shops in town because a strong corridor beats a strong single store.

In 1848 a Rhode Islander pitched a tent where two creeks meet and traded flour and boots for gold dust. The placer gold ran out in about eighteen months. The store did not. Every mercantile that followed, and every antique shop on Main Street today, descends from that one transaction.

One person chooses every piece on this floor. Not a buying committee, not a wholesale catalogue, not four booths of the same reproduction signs. If a piece is here, it earned its place, and somebody can tell you where it came from.
We are deliberately selective about what enters the shop. San Francisco Vintage accepts select vintage furniture, lighting, art, objects, collectibles, and unusual pieces on consignment.
Selective means what it says. Pieces are chosen one at a time, by eye, and merchandised the way they deserve rather than stacked in a booth. If it is not right for this floor we will tell you quickly and kindly, and we will usually tell you who it is right for.
