Twenty-three shops. One Saturday afternoon. A whole lot of stories tagged, totes earned, and shop owners hugged. You showed up for the makers, the keepers, and the small businesses that make this neighborhood worth walking. We are floored.

We thought it would be a nice afternoon. It became something else entirely. Here is the day by the numbers, more or less, give or take a few hundred steps and one missing tote.
This hunt only worked because the businesses of North Beach said yes. Every shop, cafe, bar, gallery, and maker on this list opened their doors, dreamed up a challenge, welcomed strangers, and treated this whole thing like it mattered. Because it did. Go back. Bring friends. Buy something. Tell them San Francisco Vintage and Happy House sent you.
The whole point of this thing was to remind people that a neighborhood is the people who run the shops. You did the rest. You walked, you tagged, you lingered, you bought, you came back. That is exactly how a small business survives a Tuesday.
